2019 nCoV Outbreak COVID-19(prevention)

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), most people who become infected experience mild illness and recover, but it can be more severe for others.

However, the UN body has shared a list of recommendations for protection against the new coronavirus. Here is a useful infographic.

Wash your hands frequently

Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based hand rub or wash them with soap and water.

Why? Washing your hands with soap and water or using alcohol-based hand rub kills viruses that may be on your hands.

Maintain social distancing

Maintain at least 1 meter (3 feet) distance between yourself and anyone who is coughing or sneezing.

Why? When someone coughs or sneezes they spray small liquid droplets from their nose or mouth which may contain the virus. If you are too close, you can breathe in the droplets, including the COVID-19 virus if the person coughing has the disease.

Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth

Why? Hands touch many surfaces and can pick up viruses. Once contaminated, hands can transfer the virus to your eyes, nose or mouth. From there, the virus can enter your body and can make you sick.

Flaxseed for diabetes patient

Flax seeds are enriched with some of the most essential and basic nutrients that our body requires. These come enriched with fiber, protein, magnesium, calcium, phosphorous, lignin among other nutrients and minerals. Aligns present in them help in battling high levels of estrogen and help in maintaining balanced hormonal levels. Since flax seeds are energy-dense with great satiety value, these make you feel full and therefore facilitate weight management. The study of Flax seed for diabetes patient showing a tablespoon of daily ground flax seeds for a month appears to improve fasting blood sugars, triglycerides, cholesterol, and hemoglobin A1c levels in diabetics was a non-blinded, non-randomized small study. If it was some drug they were testing, I’d never prescribe it based on this one study, but this isn’t a drug. It’s just flax seeds. There are just good side effects, so even if this study was a fluke or fraud, flax seeds have other benefits. In the worst case scenario the seed...
